John Garrett & Colleen Graham
Forerunner #1 is John Garrett and his wife Colleen Graham. They have been passionate about the Birkie and Kortelopet for over 25 years. In addition to racing the Birkie races they have been Birkebeiner volunteers for many years. John served as Birkie Board member, President, and is currently a Birkie Endowment Trustee, and Colleen is and has been a race chief for the Barnebirkie for many years. They are also Birkie Trail Friends for the B14K marker.
They have become Forerunners because they wanted to make a long-lasting gift and have an enduring commitment to the Birkie.
